Coldplay, Crazy Frog Stay Strong On U.K. Charts
Crazy Frog's "Axel F" (Gusto) and Coldplay's "X&Y" (Parlophone) kept their respective places at the top of yesterday's (June 19) the U.K. singles and album charts. But the biggest news was the presence of two climbers in the top three of the singles survey, an unheard-of phenomenon in recent years.

MIKE OLDFIELD SIGNS WITH MERCURY RECORDS
Mercury Records, part of the Universal Music Group, are proud to announce that Mike Oldfield has signed a deal with the label. The first fruits of this new deal will see the release of a brand new as yet untitled double album from Mike Oldfield in September, which is his first collection of new music since 2002’s Tres Lunas. Alongside his new releases, in 2008 all of Mike’s catalogue from his years at Virgin, including the classics Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn, will transfer to Mercury Records. Mike Oldfield has sold 40 million albums since the release of his debut Tubular Bells in 1973.
