Bon Jovi Joins Live 8 - And Announces New Album!
Bon Jovi will perform at the Philadelphia edition of "Live 8: The Long Walk To Justice" on Saturday, July 2nd!
And that's not all! Bon Jovi announced their new album (currently untitled) will be released in the U.S. and Canada on September 20th! The first single from the album is called "Have A Nice" day and you will receive news about its premiere as soon as its available!

Snoop Dogg goes gold in Switzerland
Rapper Snoop Dogg was presented with a Gold Disc at a performance in Freunfield, Switzerland for sales of his album R & G: Rhythm and Gangsta.
Snoop is currently on the European leg of his "How The West Was One European Tour" which will include apperances at some of the big European festivals such as: Rokslide, Denmark; Quart, Norway; T in the Park, Scotland and the Live 8 concert in Hyde Park, London.

For the first time, the annual one-hour special will be broadcast in High Definition and feature just one musical performer. Coldplay, Crazy Frog Stay Strong On U.K. Charts
Crazy Frog's "Axel F" (Gusto) and Coldplay's "X&Y" (Parlophone) kept their respective places at the top of yesterday's (June 19) the U.K. singles and album charts. But the biggest news was the presence of two climbers in the top three of the singles survey, an unheard-of phenomenon in recent years.

MIKE OLDFIELD SIGNS WITH MERCURY RECORDS
Mercury Records, part of the Universal Music Group, are proud to announce that Mike Oldfield has signed a deal with the label. The first fruits of this new deal will see the release of a brand new as yet untitled double album from Mike Oldfield in September, which is his first collection of new music since 2002’s Tres Lunas. Alongside his new releases, in 2008 all of Mike’s catalogue from his years at Virgin, including the classics Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn, will transfer to Mercury Records. Mike Oldfield has sold 40 million albums since the release of his debut Tubular Bells in 1973.
